Dorothy and Viv designed a workshop that takes a print from IKEA and gets the group to take a piece and colour it in and then replace to remake the design with their particular colourful contributions. The group also made a button from their piece of fabric. The introductory session gave the group a great intro to the project as they designed and made things in under an hour! The group were great with the colours and also did some stitching and sewed on some beads. They took their buttons home and felt proud at what they had achieved and all looked engaged and ready for the trip to the V&A and the next workshop which Dorothy will be leading.
