Dorothy was busy with the group helping them to make wire bound books, necklaces, and greeting cards using the fabric the group created called ‘Gerbera: Colour Vibes’.
The young people are asked to choose 25 sheets and make a selection from the fabric that will become the cover for their books. Dorothy helps them rip the fabric like a professional which they like a lot.
The laminator is turned on and whilst some iron their section of cloth and then make their cover others prepare to make the greeting cards selecting six rectangles or triangles from the cloth which they would like to use for their cards.
Each participant is handed a certificate at the end of the session which they are able to tick for the various activities they have completed.
